For each lesson you will find 4 or 5 different exercises.
Listening for detail
The objective is not only to improve your listening comprehension and pronunciation, but also your vocabulary, spelling and grammar. Many of these are dictation exercises. If you consider them as “guessing games” they can be enjoyable to do.
Global listening
This is like real-life listening and can be fun. Watch a film or listen to a news story and put your attention on the content, on the meaning and not on the words! You are successful if you can follow the story or understand in a general way what’s happening in the world.
Songs
These are a good way of improving your pronunciation and intonation and learning colloquial expressions at the same time.
